Xbox 360 question?

I just bought an xbox 360 second hand, and want to connect it to the internet. I can connect it to my pc via ethernet cable, but what do i need to do next? How do I open an account with xbox live and how much is it? What online games are best? The xbox came with Gears of War, Pro Evolution Soccer 6, Crackdown and Ghost Recon. Are they any good?

Your xbox needs to be connected to your ethernet network (cable, dsl, etc). Usually you will connect it to your router, not your PC. When you’re connected properly, turn it on and select the Live tab option from the Xbox menu. It should guide you through everything. I think Xbox Live is about $15 a month by I’m not sure.

Gears of War is an awesome game, but very short. I haven’t played the others you mention.
