What Xbox 360 Console should I buy?

I know I don’t want the most basic one I can get, but is there a difference in longevity between the normal Xbox 360 console and the Elite version?

If you must get a Xbox 360 now, I suggest you go for the Elite. Not only does the Elite have a larger hard drive, but it doesn’t overheat like the premium and core versions. The reason is because the Elite come with modified heat sink, to prevent overheating. I have the Elite and so far I haven’t had any problems.
