How should I place my PS3? (Clearance and space)?

Right now my PS3 is in my entertainment center. The dimensions of the cubby it is in is about 2 feet wide by 2 feet deep and about 8 inches tall, with the front and right sides completely open. Is this enough room/clearance to keep it from overheating?

Yes, it is.
PS3′s don’t over heat that much, unless you live in Australia.
The PS3 gets pretty loud sometimes, and thats when I know it is time to turn on the air con.
