is their such thing as a xbox 360 emulator for pc?

i want to no is their a program that alows you to play xbox 360 games on your computer. please if you could give me a website where i could download one and one that works nicely with a xbox controller for windows

No. However a great many xbox games get ported to pc, because they already use directx 9.0 and because the xbox is similar to pc’s so it’s easy to do.

For a pc to emulate a console it has to have way more power. Much, much more. Enough to run its own OS and multi-tasking processes, and yet have enough resources left to be able to simulate the console. For an xbox360 that would mean devoting 3 processors each clocked at 3.2ghz, and the entire video card too, to emulation. You might possibly be able to get a quad-core machine to attempt it, but you would have to put a ball and chain on Vista, somehow lock it out of three of the cpu’s, and also simulate the hardwired logic that syncs the xbox’s three cores. Since quad-cores interact by their own hardwired designs, you would have to devote precious resources to emulating that, too. I doubt that it is possible and nobody has made any serious attempt to create one. Maybe in a few years.
