Can I add a larger 2.5″ hard drive to my Xbox 360 and format it somehow so that the Xbox will recognize it?

I was reading that no matter how big it is, it will only recognize it as 20gb. So i was wondering if there was a hack for this, or if i could get it to at leas recognize 120gb like the bigger official Microsoft HDD.
