how to program a xbox 360 remote

Well i have an older ati tv card came with remote!!!! I cannot find the right multimedia center download for it i am trying to hook up my xbox 360 to the yellow AV in the back so that i can record videos of my games but don’t know what multimedia center program i can use to allow me to access the av video to play it on my monitor so does anyone have any ideal on how to help me lol!!!
well thats kinda hard can’t seem to remmeber the card model wich makes it very hard i know its for windows xp an agp type computer!!!
