Can I use my xbox 360 wireless controller on my pc by connecting a play and charge kit?

Will the play and charge kit allow me to use the controller on my pc or is charging the only thing it allows me to do. If it wont help then how can i use my controller on my pc? I dont care about wireless for my pc. Is there a way to use it through a usb?

Not with the play and charge kit.. it is only for power..

You need to purchase the “Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver for Windows”.. it costs $18.99 at Amazon.com (link below).. I have seen them in retail stores like Target as well.. The Receiver plugs into your PC with USB and lets you use your Xbox 360 wireless controller..

Otherwise, the Xbox 360 wired controllers will work with the PC by just plugging them in.. there is no way to convert the wireless controller to a wired controller..
