XBOX 360 VGA and HDMI Monitor Help?

I’ve used VGA before on a monitor, and I use Monster GameLink™ 360 VGA A/V Cable. The monitor I will use specifically for Halo 3 is a Viewsonic 22″ Diamaniduo. I’ve heard that if you use VGA you cannot get sound. Here’s the specs of the Diamaniduo (as far as input wise)

It says the monitor has 3.5mm mini Stereo and RCA left/right audio in plugs.

Congratulations! The VGA cable will have 2 RCA plugs for audio, so you can plug these in and you will get stereo sound from your monitor. Nothing to buy additionally.
