xbox 360 help. batman arkham asylum freezes and the screen gets messed up?

batman arkham asylum hits a certain point then freezes. took the disk to get rebuffed… didn’t work. got a new game… didn’t work. im out of ideas and i really dint want to buy a new xbox 360. what should i do
im about 44% through and its in the hallway with the hook up with your family riddle… i believe im about to hit another scarecrow inconter because batman coughs and the speker starts talking about sports

If its in the part where u get to some gargoyles than its part of the game just wait n a new intro will start..i thought the game was messed up 2 but i was 2 lazy 2 get up n finally it started again.
