PS3 new system coming out?

My dad read from the newspaper, that Sony is going to make another version of the PS3, but it the controllers will also be able to move around like the Wii games. In other words, the PS3 will be a PS3 and a Wii. Does anyone have a guess when it comes out? PS3 releases consoles every 6 years, and 3 years ago the PS3 came out, so my guess is 2012. Tell me if you agree, or if you know the date.

There is a new slim version of the PS3.

The motion controller thing, isn’t to do with the PS3 model, that is a new controller that will work with any PS3. They are working on that at the moment.

I’m not sure why they are making it, most PS3 gamers don’t seem to want it, I certainly have no interest in it, and could do without the sixaxis motion control that we already have, but it is going to be way better than the motion control on the Wii. Playstation were the first to use a form of motion control when they invented the Playstation eye-toy.

I sincerely hope that they are not going to try to integrate this tech with all PS games, but rather, they will develop a few games specially for it, and leave the rest of the games alone, lol.
