What’s a good Racing or Shooter game for the xbox?

I want to get a good racing game for the regular xbox. I was hoping for something with big jumps and air and on dirt tracks.

Racing Games – Try Rallisport 1 or 2. They are both really good. Lots of dirt, and no “invisible walls”. It lets you drive off the course till you get too far away, then respawns you back on the road. Very realistic, and one of the best Xbox racer’s overall.

Good shooter – Obviously Halo 1 or 2. Both awesome. Haven’t tried but I heard really good things about both Black and Halflife 2. If you’re ever in doubt check out xbox.ign.com, and click on their reviews. you can sort by genre and score. And i guarantee you, that any game they rank a 9 or higher is worth playing.
