Can I Still Return My Xbox 360 If I Opened The Console?

I already went through 2 consoles already. And I thought what the heck I have the red ring why not open it and clear the dust so thats what I did, but i’m such a dummy that i accidentky snagged a piece off the hardrive and now it doesn’t work at all. I ALREADY KNOW THE MICROSOFT WARRANTY IS VIODED. I want to know if i can still return it to Best Buy since I baught a 2 year warranty with my xbox from them?
