Operating sytems for PS3?!?

Does anyone know what operating systems (OS) are available on the PS3?!? I know about linux but is there any others?!?

no other os will aside from linux since the ps3 doesnt have all the right components for windows or mac. but there are many variations of linux that can be installed. yellow dog, ubuntu, etc.

and it should not affect your ps3′s performance unless you are running low on hard drive space. which, if you ever have on your computer, you know will effect performance.

it installs on a second partition of your hard drive (which you must create from the ps3′s main screen [under settings]), and so the two systems are never running simultaneously.
