Next generation consoles such as the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3 have brought gaming up to a new level, with better graphics, better storylines and most importantly better game play; next generation video gaming is the only way forward. All the huge advancements in technology come at a price however and the cost of a single Video game has shot up. Most video games these days cost around $50-$60 which is quite expensive, however if you’re a video gamer then more often or not this $50-$60 is the best money you have ever spent.

However if you’re like me and play your games all the time then eventually by some miss fortune you are going to damage your game, damage can occur from when you take your favorite game out of the box or even when you press the play button.

Costing $50 a time this is a real downfall, no one however rich they are can afford to waste hundreds of dollars especially in this economic crisis. So what could be the solution? Well that’s simple if we were to back up our video games then it surely wouldn’t matter if we played our games so much. Playing backup video games though was still a problem up until recently because if you wanted to be able to back up your consoles games then you would have to take your system apart and fit a mod chip and for the normal computer gamer like me this isn’t an option as its too technical and certainly too expensive if you get it wrong.

These days however there is another solution, there’s certain software available that lets you the user create perfect 1:1 copies of the original game disk. If you’re interested in playing backup Xbox 360 games or any other console games for that matter I would recommend you looking for a step by step guide on how to make copies of your disks.
