Should forget about the PS3?

i was planning on buying a ps3 but now that bluray won the hd war,i don’t see the price coming down any time soon. also,i don’t like the fact that the ps3 that i can afford is the dumbed down version(40gig) that doesn’t come with a rumble controller and the fact they are now rolling out the 40gig without the spiderman movie(not that i cared that much)but at least it came with something extra. sony could at least knocked the price down a little.

with the PS3 price you get (included)
wifi connection
top of the line blu-ray dvd player (since its Sonys technology afterall)
free online gaming
for the 360 you get none of these things WITH the console when you buy it, their all additional extras making the 360 after only 1 year of ownership 1.57 times more expensive than the PS3, and remember you have to keep paying for the online, and i’m guessing you’ll have a 360 till the next console comes out (unless it bracks down outside the warrenty) which will be around 7 years from now, so work out which is the better deal.
I’m not going to compare the internet – everyone has their own oppinion – i personally can’t see a difference, but that may be just because i focus on the actual playing of the game and not the stupid ‘extra features’ like text and prefer player (seriously, if you want to tell someone something have a vioce chat, and if you want to prefer them then add them to your friends list.)
The Wii isnt a bad console, but the games that really show the innovite control scheme are the ones that are more aimed at the kids. Any other game that comes out on the other consoles too, you might as well get for them not the Wii.
