ps3 video help
Need help with ps3 video output settings!?
I have a lcd monitor with the resolution 1680 x 1050 and I can connect the ps3 to it. Problem is that I connected my ps3 to the sd tv (changed the video settings to default by holding the ps button because it was set to hd) and now I have to connect it to the monitor but it ONLY supports hd because its connected via DVI and I dont have an hd tv. The first time I did this, I connected the ps3 with the tv and monitor at the same time and changed it to 720p hdmi but now I cant because I’ll have to unhook the monitor (and all the setup I made) and do it all over again. Is there a direct way to change the video settings to hd?
you just reset it again to default , the ps3 will detect the dvi / hdmi cable and ask you if you want to set it as the output and let you set resolution. basically the ps3 and tv both sense each other by using a digital input cable . if for some reason the ps3 and tv don’t communicate you can plug into the tv , select your settings and then shut it off and reconnect .
