Questions about returning xbox 360 to microsoft?

Yesterday I got the one red ring (E73). I have decided to ship it back to microsoft ( im still insured). Im wondering if i have to wait for the xbox 360 box that microsoft will send to me. Or can i use a box and use my own packaging.

You can send it to them if you have the address with your own packaging. I’m in the exact same situation. I’ve been waiting for the packaging for 12 days.
