How do i get xbox 360 controller to work on mw2?

I just bought an xbox360 wireless controller with a usb receiver to be used with a PC (vista). Does anyone know if i can make it work with the MW2 game (PC version) ?

It should work, I don’t see why it wouldn’t work.
Did you install the software for the wireless receiver correctly? If you did and your controller and receiver are synced then open the game and change the gamepad/controllers or whatever its called [i don't have the game so I would not know what the interface looks like] to your xbox 360 gamepad. At least thats how I had set up my controller on my laptop to play games on it.
