Are 20gb,60gb and 80gb ps3s compatible with ps2 games? And can i return a used ps3 for a full refund??
I just got a 40 gb ps3 for xmas and its not compatible w/ ps2 games. i just want to know if i can get a full refund for it AND if the other ps3′s are compatible with ps2 AND ps1 games……. gotta love the classics.

The 20, 60, and 80 are compatible with PS2 games.
You don’t want a 20 gb. It sucks. No Wi-Fi. No flash drives.
The 60 is the one to go but it’s been discontinued, and it’s almost impossible to find in stores.
The only one that you can get your hand on just might be the 80 gb. But the 80 gb uses software emulation for PS2 games, so it’s not as good as the 20 and 60 gb versions since they have the PS2′s CPU.
If you still have the receipt, you should be able to return it and get maybe a full refund. There might be a restocking fee.
