What sort of sound adapter do I need for the Xbox 360 VGA wire?

I’m not the best with this sort of technology however I purchased a VGA wire for my Xbox 360 to go on monitor and the pictures great. However there are 2 spare leads (red & white) which I believe are for audio however there is no where to place them.

If you bought the official VGA cable from Microsoft it should have come with the RCA to 3.5mm jack adapter that you need.

If you didn’t get the official one and/or can’t return it, then you should be able to buy one pretty cheap from www.monoprice.com.
