Which game (and why) should I buy for PS3, skate or skate 2?

I am a skateboarding fan (I practiced it for some years). Now I have a PS3 and I definitely want to buy a skate game. I downloaded the demos for skate and skate 2, but I am still not sure which one is the best option, I liked both of them. Can anybody give me suggestions and reasons about which one should I buy?

First, don’t buy Tony Hawk games. Second, Buy Skate, then beat it, then get Skate 2.
