xbox360 wired controller problem?

i have a wired xbox 360 controller and after a couple of months of using it the controller turns itself off and back on every time i move the wire.How can i fix this? i already tried to tape up the wires but it didnt work.

is there damage to the cable? if so then probably a broken wire no real way of fixing other then replacing the cable. might also be a broken solder point. both require a bit of tech know how to fix.
