Xbox 360 help???

i want to wirelessly connect computer to xbox. my computer is wireless to the same internet server as the xbox. i downloaded the media thing on the computer but the xbox is not reconizing it. what can i do?? how can i connect it with wires??

I had this problem. What I did was download the latest version of Windows media player 11 and import my music, etc. Then go to tools, options, library, configure sharing, and choose to share your xbox with the media player. Here is where I ran into problems. I tried and tried connecting it and the xbox would never recognize that I had a connection. What I ended up having to do was temporarily disable my firewall so that a connection could be established and then I could turn the firewall back on to keep my computer safe. I hope this helps you, as this was a frustration for me for the longest time. Keep in mind that when streaming video that it is in windows media video (wmv) format, or else the xbox will not recognize it.
