What store has the best deal for the XBox 360?
Planning on getting one for my son for Christmas. So what store has the better, cheaper, greater deal?
Depends on whether you plan on getting an arcade or an elite and the games your son likes.
Bestbuy has an elite that comes with 2 games (games that wouldn’t sell by themselves), 1 month of xbox live, $50 gift card (to buy a decent game), and a movie voucher to watch sherlock homes. Walmart has all that as well, minus the movie voucher. This is the standard deal (if you want the gift cards you would have to order online). All for $299
Walmart has another deal, though, if you don’t want the two crap bundled games. It’s $249, but you will have to also buy a harddrive. The arcade version 360 (white), Modern Warfare 2, and 1 month of xbox live. This isn’t the best deal, as the total cost without the deal would be around $309. But the savings you get would be lost once you buy a 20gb harddrive for $50 (amazon.com might be easier to get ahold of a 20gb harddrive)
So, based on what you want, all the bundles will be for around $310.
120gb elite, 1 month xbox live, 2 crap games, $50 gift card for a good game, and free movie ticket to Sherlock Holmes

20gb arcade, 12 month xbox live, Modern warfare 2
