Xbox 360 controller with Oblivion for the PC?

Ok I have a wireless xbox 360 controller and I’m going to buy a xbox 360 wireless gaming receiver for windows and I want to know does this work for oblivion? Is it just like a plug and play or do I have to download some drivers? I’ve heard of xpadded and pinnacle what one of these is better? also do you have to pay for xpadded? i know after a while with pinnacle you have to pay. so what is the best way to play oblivion for the pc with an xbox 360 wireless controller?

It’s actually a real pain to play Oblivion with a controller. They made the game look the same as consoles, which sucks, but it can’t be controlled the same way.

Oh, and JoyToKey is free and works just as well as anything else, if not better.
Another thing, the triggers on the X360 controller are analog. They show up as another set of axes. This can cause issues for some games that only expect to see 2 axes.
