Why does my xbox 360 controller keep disconnecting?

I’m playing fable 2 and the controller works fine until I get into a fight. It disconnects continuously until the fight is over. It works fine during the rest of the game

any ideas? oh and the batteries are fine, they’re not running low.

It might be the battery pack, my friend’s battery pack broke once and he had to buy a new one. Maybe you move the controller too much? Mine disconnect when I move it too much really fast.
