Xbox 360 HD installation problem?

I have component cable for the Xbox 360 and a 26 "LCD TV Dynex. Im trying to connect hard disk but its not working. I have taken part in, but the quality is bad. Do I have to do something else

OK sure you use the component and composite cables do not, so be sure have activated the switch to basic cable instead of HDTV. I think that's your problem. If you have done and the quality is still poor, then do system settings in the dashboard and viewing the screen has been set. Still could be set at 480p. Just put on the big screen High Definition 720p or 1080i. This will establish your problem.
