xbox 360 live setup guide
how do i setup xbox live?
I got a network adapter for my 360, and I need to find a few things. For starters, I think I have to start like this-
-edit settings
-basic settings
-Wireless mode
-router name
-WEP key.
I don’t know how to find the WEP key because I use a mac and all of the others guides have been for PCs. Where can I find my WEP64 key on my computer? also, how far away does the adapter have to be to read the internet?
First of all, you want to make sure you have, for example, a linksys adapter that’s hooked up to a router. When you have that set (along with a WEP key, or a password like that, also make sure you have a network name) go to you Xbox 360 network settings, go to the menu where you can select a wireless network, enter the network name and password(you might also want an automatic IP address NOT MANUAL) and then test your Xbox live connection. And remember, the apple airport adapter is NOT compatible with the Xbox 360.
