Ok, so I had my Xbox 360 VGA HD Cable …..?
Ok, so I had my Xbox 360 VGA HD Cable FutureShop … is sweet. Now my 360 can play my sweet ass Samsung SyncMaster 226BW 22 "LCD computer monitor … The problem is that if I want my 360 I have to turn around, uplug my computer cable, and insert the Xbox. Is it possible to avoid this without having to spend a lot of money? It is a huge disadvantage, and I would be able to switch between my computer and 360 at will if perhaps, you know, calls girlfiend … However, if it cost me an arm and a face, I do not think it would be worth … Note that I am not very computer savvy and I do not understand all the terminology associated … so go easy on me …. perhaps even divide it into Abit … All suggestions are welcome, Thanks again …. I had the same problem. What you need to do is find a video card that has a DVI output. It should not be too difficult to find and probably worth the small investment, as the monitor from Samsung offers the best image resolution of 1680 X 1050. Once the video card, connect your PC through the DVI cable (that comes with the monitor) and connect the Xbox 360 through VGA cable. Now, when you want to play XBOX, simply press the source button on the monitor and there you have it. Note that the monitor has no speakers, so you should either use a stereo system with stereo inputs or a hook to the audio input on your PC (90% of computers have them). You must buy an adapter at Radio Shack that will transform Audio and white photographs taken with a red mini-helmet.
